13- The New Must-Haves for Today’s Home – The Upstairs Laundry Room

When deciding where to put your laundry room, whenever possible, consider opting for the level with the most bedrooms in use. This will avoid a lot of back and forth, possibly up and down stairs, with heavy laundry baskets and lost socks galore.

The only real decisions you’ll have to make is whether you want a laundry center tucked away in a closet, or if you would prefer an entire room; and whether you want to have a sink in the laundry room should you want a dedicated room.

Once those decisions are made, the rest is really just cosmetic. You will be faced with choices such as front loading or top loading appliances, cabinets or shelves, etc.

If your Home has a unique feature you find indispensable, feel free to share what it is!
